Saumya has over a decade of experience in IT advisory, cybersecurity, and risk management. Formerly a Manager at PwC Canada, he has led SOC, SOX, and ERP assurance engagements across financial services and other regulated industries.
He specializes in building "Secure-by-Design" architectures that protect multi-cloud environments while implementing the necessary guardrails for Generative AI. By deploying Zero Trust frameworks and mitigating AI-specific threats like prompt injection, by ensuring that emerging technologies remain an asset rather than a liability.
Beyond technical hardening, he translates complex risks into clear business outcomes through Integrated Risk Management (IRM) and automated compliance (SOC2, ISO 27001, NIST). His focus is on transforming security from a cost center into a business enabler, moving organizations away from reactive "point-in-time" audits toward continuous monitoring and strategic oversight. His skill set empowers companies scale with confidence by ensuring every innovation is backed by a foundation of trust and regulatory integrity.
